Product Features
Servo Motor
In addition to offering quieter operation, the Servo motor is 1/3 lighter and uses up to 90 percent less energy than traditional clutch motors installed in many industrial models. It’s easy to put this motor into reverse by simply flicking a conveniently located switch. This motor also includes the ability to change and set stitch speeds. Once set, the MO-6714S will operate at the speed you choose, no matter the amount of pressure applied to the pedal.
Adjustable Differential Feed
The adjustment features on the MO-6714S include an internal adjustment system connected to the external control. This gives you complete control over the feed dogs, the fabric you’re using and feed ratio settings. The differential ratio for gathering can be adjusted between 1:2 mm and 1:4 mm and for stretching, adjustable ratio varies between 1:0.7 mm to 1:0.6 mm. These setting variations and the blinding speed of this machine allow you to produce perfect stitches on any project.
Dual Thread Tension Controls
The unique dual thread tension control system makes adjustments fast and easy, even when operating the serger in normal stitching and chain-off thread modes. The chain-off mode allows you to produce an even, soft-chain of any length of chain-off. It does this by controlling the tension release system installed in the system.
Backlatch Function
The tension-release function can be disabled when working on certain projects simply by switching off the material edge sensor. Additionally, in this type of 2-needle serger, the intermediate claw on the throat plate can be set to be used for standard overlock stitching projects that don’t require using the backlatching function. This feature is handy when working on continuous stitching projects.
Warranties
The warranty on this industrial serger is limited to only 90 days on labor.
