In addition to a more generous work area, this model features three different safety switches (inside the looper and side covers and on the presser foot bar) that prevent the machine from running unless all are engaged. The presser foot pressure is easily adjustable to accommodate all types of fabric, and the heavy-duty construction ensures stability – even when operated at top speed.
Stitch Options
In addition to featuring 2- and 3-thread rolled and narrow hem stitches and picot and lettuce edge stitch options, the 2000D offers you the options of 2- and 3-thread flatlock stitches, a 4-thread overlock safety stitch, 3- and 4-thread narrow and standard overlock stitches and a 2-thread overcast stitch. The stitch length can be adjusted between 1 mm and 5 mm by using the specially integrated dual-function knob that also controls the differential feed. The ratio adjustment range for the differential feed is between 0.5 and 2.
